Last Tuesday, PVCF had the great pleasure of hosting An Evening With... Ray Roman, and what an evening it was! Playing to a nearly packed room, the evening began with an in-depth interview where Ray shared his story, his insights, advice and some of his trade secrets with our members.
Following the interview, Ray screened one of his signature Short Form Wedding Films in what turned out to be one of the highlights of the evening. Afterward, he demonstrated a variety of the equipment he uses on his shoots including his Steadicam rig and Canon 5D Mark II. He also showcased a variety of gear generously provided by Cinevate, which he utilizes to great effect.
We then continued our meeting "after hours" at the Ale House where Ray (and wife Jessica) joined us for a much more informal discussion. The evening was such a success that we are already in discussions to bring Ray back for an even more intense experience.
